Today these two are getting married. We did their engagement session last fall and I have been so excited to be a part of the wedding.

I was so excited about the opportunity to take pictures at this reception. I knew it would be a fun time with people who I think are so special and really beautiful details. I might have taken as many pictures of food as people at this dessert reception and it really was a treat.

Met up with three on Friday night for some pics at their house. There is something so comfortable about shooting at someones home and I'm not sure if it was that or that I had done a session with them last summer, but they warmed up fast and we had a great time. I love doing a repeat session with a family and getting to see how they have grown and changed.

We ended our time with some ice cream on their back porch. In my opinion all summer shoots should end like this. It is hot outside!

On Saturday I had the great pleasure of documenting some very dear friends wedding. They had an intimate ceremony at Marlsgate.

There is something so beautiful to me about a small wedding. They got married in the foyer with the guest circled around in chairs. I loved making my way around the room to take pictures and seeing all of their faces as they rejoiced in this special day. And I love that we got a picture of all 25 guest on the front steps.

When you see these two (gorgeous) and saw this sweet bump you knew there was a handsome little guy coming and boy that was the truth. I met up with this precious boy and his mama on a very hot June day for a Father's Day surprise for the new daddy.

The above picture is one of my absolute favorites. As my boys get older I am sad for the seasons of our lives that I don't have captured. I spent a lot of time with my boys laying in my lap this way and this picture reminds me of such a sweet time that really does fly by.

LOVE it-that's all I can say.
