 I have known Rob since junior high and I was so excited to have the chance to get to take these engagement photos of he and his beautiful fiance.

 They are a precious couple and it was a treat to have this time with them.

 Lauren told me, when talking about a location, that she wanted to capture the beauty of Arkansas in the spring. We found some great spots and had a gorgeous seventy degree day. 

I heart spring.

 While getting in position for some of the photos in this field we reminisced about some good old dog town days and how Rob and his friends took a picture like this at all of our high school dances.

i heart sun flare

today at i heart faces it is all about sun flare. so many varieties in how to approach this and i love the way sun can work in a photo. i am putting this one up today because i am trying to finish up this wedding and so it is heavy on my mind. also this photo was featured on the weddings in arkansas facebook page with some other photos a few weeks ago and it makes me smile.

we are finally on the other side of a week where the whole family was down with strep and i am just beginning to catch up from a week of no work. trying hard to take deep breaths and be thankful that we were well all fall. and that it's friday.
